For Romanians IT profesionals - “The Freedom Trophy”
Georg Greve, the FSFE president (some of you met him this year; he had one of the best keynote presentation at eLiberatica) pointed to me a very interesting project and asked if we can help spreading the word in Romania.
“Cetril, is once again organizing the Trophees du Libre, an award for Free Software projects in various categories, focused on unknown and innovative projects. The web page is now open for registration and you can download the PDF leaflet here. Deadline for registrations is 1 October 2007.”

I strongly encourage everybody who knows people or organizations in Romania suitable to participate at this competition to point them to this event. Also perhaps some articles in media would help.
This would be a chance to make ourselves known in the world of FLOSS.
