Groups like Ghost Hunters do not necessarly bend the public will but they can prick it’s imagination.

What about my ancestors? Where did they come from? Forget the stoies of free-floating entities, I want to find who is in my past and can’t speak about who I am.

Hello Lucian!

I’ve just recently learned of Citadel Rasnov by watching an episode of the American TV show, ‘Ghost Hunters Internation’ on the SCI-FI network. I was so curious about it I’ve looking online for more information. There’s a video stream of the show on the network’s site http://www.scifi.com/ The episode is ‘Fortress of Fear’. Great site, thanks for sharing

What can I say Kelly… Some people believe that is something beyond our cognitive senses; I never met in person any ghost in all my childhood when I played there, but we imagined a lot of things like that
The place has its magic for sure. Just stay to catch the dusk or dawn there.

I plan to build a dedicated website about that region, let’s hope the time will permit.

I watched a program about ghosthunters last evening just because they were at the Citadel Rasnov in Romania. I find the country of Romania and others in central Europe fascinating-love the history,architecture,etc.However I think the subject of ghosts is total bunk.I’m curious to know your opinion on the matter? Compliments to you-great pics of a beautiful country!!!! Thanks so much for posting them.

Romania is fascinating, a great place to visit, especially if you know where to go and if you have local contacts there.

Im a writer and im interested in learning more about Romania, does it normally snow there or in places there? You seem to be well aquainted with the area. Thanks for the post. I’m happy to see that are still people like you.
With Rasnov Citadel, I intended to work on a website which will present it, but right now the time is not permitting me. Anyway, I think that it deserves to be known by the westerns. It is really a beautiful place there.

I actually just visited Rasnov this summer as well, and I was fascinated by it. And you’re right, it is in great shape. It’s one of my favorite sites, one that I haven’t visited before. I’m Romanian, and very proud of it (also live in Canada). Cheers!
